I met Sharon through my friend Samantha last year. Sharon and I hit it off, and have been gathering for play dates whenever we can manage it ever since. Since she’s a busy mom and nurse, and I have my hands full with photography and my kids’ crazy schedules, we don’t get together as often as we’d like. But when we do, it’s pure awesomeness.
Last week, we were finally able to find time to photograph her sweet family down at the dry lake bed. How beautiful is this Texas bunch?

Are you ready for your close-up?
I’ve been super busy lately photographing everyone from precious newborns to adorable children to beautiful women. And every one of them was ready for their close-up!
My niece, who was 9 days old here. I got to fly to Tucson to take her picture. I have an awesome job.
Adorable kids from a family photo shoot I did here at the dry lake bed in Las Vegas last week.
The stunning Miss Cheryl, whom I also got to photograph as well when I was in Tucson earlier this month. Hair and make-up by Studio M.

Last week I got to travel from Las Vegas to Tucson to do a few photo sessions, which included photos for my sister’s new baby. Here are all the girls, including Audrey, who was 9 days old at the time.

Sara, Mick, and the boys | Las Vegas family photographer
Last year, Sara and I had a heck of a time scheduling a family photo session that all of her boys could actually attend (see those images here). This year it worked out that ALL of her boys were home, and I eagerly scheduled them for photos in Nelson, Las Vegas’s own ghost town. The weather was perfect, the boys were handsome as always, and Sara showed up in the most perfect dress ever. Seriously, I might have squealed when I saw her. Isn’t this dress just so awesome? Sara – you are so stylish! Thank you for choosing me to do your family photos again this year!
